This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, and proof of purchase must be retained for all claims. The warranty covers the replacement or refund of the product but does not include labor involved . chips and scratches are not covered by the warranty (Laminate may chip or scratch if a sharp object is dropped on it or dragged across it). warping(Laminate will warp if excessive moisture gets into the boards. claims for wear must show a minimum 1/2 inch diameter area. This warranty is pro-rated based on the amount of time the floor has been installed. for example , if you have a claim in after 6 year, we would refund or replace 3/5 of the Laminate values (6 year is 2/5 of 25 / 15 /7 years).
